Liberty Hospital opened in February 1974 as a public, not-for-profit hospital with 130 beds.  Today, it has expanded to a 250 licensed bed facility with approximately 350 physicians and 1,800 employees.

Continuum of Care

In addition, ES provides Continuum of Care to meet the medical needs of residents. Beginning with the Independent Living Center designed for active seniors 62 years an older, the maintenance free facility provides socialization, activities, and living areas while at the same time offering independence and privacy.  If a higher level of medical oversight or assistance is needed, residents can transfer to the Residential Care or Convalescent Center.  The Convalescent Center is a 60-bed hospital based unit that enables staff to interact and become familiar with its residents.  The Residential Care Center is a 20-bed unit providing a home-like environment which offers assisted living.

Carroll County Memorial Hospital Inc. (CCMH) is a licensed 25-bed critical access hospital (CAH) with a long-term care unit. What sets CCMH apart from other CAH in Northwest Missouri is that they provide Lifestyle Fitness, a unique rehab and fitness center, which incorporates an indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, indoor 1/16 mile walking track, and state of the art fitness equipment with certified therapists and trainers. CCMH also hosts Jefferson Park, an upscale 30 unit Independent Living Center and the Senior Center of Carroll County. This all takes place on a 11 acre campus located in Carrollton, MO.
